Andy Jassy- the new CEO of Amazon

Since the inception of Amazon on July 5, 1994, Jeff Bezos officially resigned as CEO, after a long 27 years. Andy Jassy, who has been managing Amazon Web Services- AWS since 2003, has officially taken over. Bezos will now serve as executive chairman. The handover took place on July 5 at a meeting with partners last month. This is an important moment for Amazon, as Jeff Bezos has been the only CEO in Amazon's long history. Starting from scratch under the leadership of Bezos, the company has established itself as one of the largest technology companies in the world. Amazon currently dominates online commerce in the United States and parts of Europe. Amazon Web Services is also working as one of the backbones of the modern web. Andy Jesse joined Amazon in 1997 after graduating from Harvard Business School. He later led Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2003. In 2016, Andy Jassy took over as the Chief Executive Officer of AWS. By the end of 2020, AWS controls about one-third of the world's cloud computing market. DBTech / BMT
